We heard that the biggest and best pumpkin patch around was Vala's. It's out in the country west of town and they were not kidding! It is the biggest and most busy pumpkin patch I've ever seen in my life! It was packed! But it was worth the admission price because of all of the fun stuff that they had. It was more than just a pumpkin patch and it was more of a fall festival/amusement park (minus the roller coasters).
There were all kinds of rides (train, hayride, wagons, tractors, cars, bike path), petting zoo, food, other attractions (haunted houses, mini golf, jumping pillows, playgrounds), pig races, pumpkin chucking cannon, apple launchers and so much more. Do I sound like a commercial? It was crazy how much stuff there was really. Ok, so here's the pictures from the day.

Aaron was working those pedals on the pedal cars!
Glad I had to stay behind with Collin because it was hard work! |
And of course at a pumpkin patch, you must play in the pumpkins! They were having a blast!

More pictures! |
It was a beautiful day outside and perfect weather to be out in the farm lands of Nebraska in the fall! I can't believe I didn't take a picture riding on the train because that was one of Brady's favorite things we did. Oh well! We didn't even get to all of the things before we we left but we were there for almost 5 hours and got to do a lot!
Did you notice the kids wearing the same shirts this weekend as they did last weekend? That's because you have to wear the Halloween shirts as much as you can in October before Halloween so that's what we did! Thanks Aunt Karla for the shirts! :)
The only very frustrating and annoying part of the day was that they were working on the highway coming back toward town and it was down to one lane on each side. It was backed up for miles going into the pumpkin patch as we were leaving but it was still slow going back for us too. Luckily, when we got there in the morning, we got there before the big rush and didn't get stuck in all the traffic coming in! So glad that the weather cooperated with us this week!
