Busch Stadium Tour

So it's just Aaron's luck that the whole week Aaron is in town that the Cardinals are playing out of town. The new Busch Stadium has been open for a couple years but since Aaron has been deployed during the last 2 summers and part of this one, he hasn't been back in St Louis to see a game there. So this time, he wasn't able to either.........but they do offer tours of the stadium so we went and did that so he could at least see it before we headed back to AZ. It's a really nice one and just being able to go into the dugout and down on the field behind home plate was worth charge alone. Here's some highlights:

Brady sitting in the broadcasting chair......Maybe a future career after he retires from the major leagues of course! :)

Brady standing behind home plate.

Standing on the field with the outfield and downtown St Louis in the background.

Mike and Lauren

Aaron practicing his Albert Pujols swing. (He said he thinks this is the day he cursed Pujols because in the game that night he got injured!)

Sitting in the Cardinal dugout! Nice hat Mike!

Brady is already following in Daddy's footsteps!

Erica's graduation

Erica (Aaron's beautiful youngest sister) graduated from high school on Saturday and we were able to be there for that. Here's a pic of the siblings (minus Chad) and sibling in-laws together afterwards as well as my 2 gorgeous sister-in-laws!

Aaron is home!

Aaron got back to the US with no problems last Sunday (the 1st) and came to visit in St Louis and met me there (on the 3rd). So I put together a little welcoming committee to meet Aaron at the airport equipped with embarassing signs and American flags. We also dressed in red, white and blue which also happen to be the colors of the St Louis Cardinals (Aaron's favorite baseball team!). Even little Brady was dressed in his outfit and waving 2 little flags. It was so cute. He just kept waving the flags and not really knowing who we were looking for. When Aaron picked him up he didn't seem scared but he didn't really seem to know exactly who he was either. But he warmed up to him quickly and that was that! They've been playing and having fun together ever since!
