Collin is 1 month old

This whole last month has been somewhat of a blur. Since we're pretty much in "survival mode" around here, I am finally catching up with all these posts I never finished. On Sunday Collin was 1 month old. Being a Mom of 2 now is definitely challenging me in many ways every day. Even though it is twice the work, it is twice the fun too. I am very grateful for 2 very happy and healthy boys.
Here's a couple more random pictures from this last month.

One of the first couple days after coming home from the hospital. He looks so little! I can definitely tell he is growing. He is starting to get some chubby cheeks and filling out in his neck, chin, arms and legs as well.

First bath-he actually did pretty well.
I just took this one today. He is pretty alert and so funny with his facial expressions. It's hard to catch them on camera though.
We think he is about 8 pounds now but we haven't been back to the Dr to weigh him there. Aaron just did the stepping on the scale while holding him trick to figure out about how much he weighs.
We love you Teeny Little Super Guy!

Weekend in Pinetop

Last weekend we went with Jason and Wendy to the cabin in Pinetop. It was fun to get away from hot Tucson and just relax and enjoy the mountain. The drive there and back was beautiful. It was also nice to spend some time with great friends, especially since we will be leaving soon.....sad :( It was also Collin's first little trip and he did really well.
We fed the ducks at the lake and took a little walk. The boys went exploring with their dads off the path and up a little waterfall the perfect size for a 3 and 4 year old!
The boys had a great time playing together at the cabin and it will really be sad when we have to separate these 2 little boys from each other when we move.

There was something really cute about this moment. We had stop on the way there and back halfway to feed the baby of course. On the way back, we stopped at the Taco Bell parking lot and I was feeding Collin in the front seat. Aaron got a taco for Brady because he was hungry and he came and sat in the front with me to eat it. He just looked like such a big boy eating his taco as happy as can be in the driver seat.
I wish I would have taken more pictures of our weekend, but we were having too much fun just enjoying the moments.

Brady starts Preschool

I can't believe that I have a preschooler now! In the midst of all the craziness with Collin and visitors, Brady started preschool. Since I ended up having the baby earlier than planned, I got to go with him to "meet" his teacher Ms Malia. He already knows her from church but we went to see his classroom, cubby, spot at the table and on the mat, etc. before he actually started.
He decided all on his own that he needed to bring an apple for his teacher. Don't ask me where he heard that but it was all his idea and so that's what he did!

Kissing me bye on his first day.

Sitting on his spot on the mat - saying goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa Purcell who dropped him off. He was ready to be at school!

Even Grandma and Pop Pop got to take him and see his preschool while they were here too.
My little man is getting so big and grown up. It really does just seem like yesterday that he was what Collin is now. It goes by too fast, but it is exciting to have new things going on and seeing how excited he is to experience them!

Gray's visit and Collin's blessing

The same day my parents left, Aaron's family arrived. We had Grandma, Pop Pop, Aunt Lauren and cousin Brinley come see us!

Grandma's dream come true-having all her grandkids by her!

Grandkids with Grandma and Pop Pop

Our little family after church for Collin's blessing

The Grays got to be there with us too. Collin wore the same blessing outfit Brady wore that was also worn by Aaron as a baby.
Look at that cute little face!!! Collin has a lot of catching up to do to get cute cheeks like Brin!
We took a little drive up Mt Lemmon since Lauren had never been.
Brady was climbing the mountain with his mountain climbing shoes-aka flip flops! :)
Thanks for coming to see us! We're so glad we got to see little baby girl and Lauren before they move too!

Grandma and Grandpa Purcell visit

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit us right after Collin was born. We had a fun time with them and my Mom helped me during the night shift with the baby. We had a couple rough nights before we figured out Collin wasn't eating enough and crying for more every hour! Here's some pictures from their visit.

Grandma and Grandpa with their boys! (Brady does have shorts on-it's hard to tell!)

My Dad admiring the baby that someone finally named after him! :)

Brady is a big helper too!

What did Grandpa do to Brady?

Collin was trying to give some love to his big brother!

Brady and Grandma playing in his room

Brady sure loved all the extra attention from Grandma and Grandpa!

Here's our new little family picture. It's not the best picture of me since I was still swollen but when we sat down to take it, Bo jumped up there to get in it too! Even he couldn't be left out!
We loved having you here and can't wait to see Grandma and Grandpa in Abraska when we get there (that's how Brady says Nebraska!).
