T-ball

Brady wanted to play baseball so bad this summer.  The t-ball leagues around here wanted to take 5 and 6 year olds and Brady is only 4.  We did find a program on base though that is more of like a t-ball skills camp for 6 weeks and it was a perfect fit for him.  The parents basically practice the skills with them and they do running and catching and hitting and everything.  He still thought he was playing t-ball and he actually was improving every week.

Good throw Brady!
Collin is also "having a ball" :)
Catching and throwing out on the field
He has his own little bat to play with while we watch Brady play

Good swing!

Next summer he will definitley be ready to play but this year he had a great time learning and having fun with the other kids and his Dad.

Kachow!!

Brady has been seeing the commercials for Cars 2 for a while now and keeps asking when he can go see the movie.
Well the day finally came when we said "Today!!"
Aaron took Brady to go see the movie.  I got to go with him to a movie last time so I let Aaron have a turn this time.  I figured we'd probably buy the movie when it came out on DVD so I'd see it about 5 million times since I am home all day with Brady anyway!
The boys had a fun time and Brady loved the movie.
He likes Finn McMissle as much as Lightening McQueen now I think!

Eating a Lightening McQueen pancake on a Lightening McQueen plate for breakfast.
Aunt Karla gave us some Cars pancake molds and we have had fun with those!

At the movie theater-I made Aaron take a picture for me since I wasn't there to document.... :)

Summer in the neighborhood

This neighborhood is a little boy's dream!  There are lots of little and big boys that live right here on our street and in the cul-de-sac right across from our house.  Brady is the youngest that plays out there together but the bigger kids do a pretty good job of including him and letting him play.  Brady looks out the window every day to see if there are kids playing.
I took these pictures after dinner before it was getting dark.  All the boys were sitting near the end of the neighbor's driveway with a box of cars racing them down the sloped part at the end of the driveway.  One race after the other until the box of cars was empty.  The pictures are not that clear since I was trying to take them without the boys seeing me.  I also had the obstacle of their big trailer parked in the driveway.
I have a feeling this is going to be how he spends his days for the rest of the summer!
