Getting closer

I'm apoligizing right now for any potty talk in this post. But when you're the mother of a 2 year old, poop is a common word in the house and is talked about a lot! So sorry if that is gross to anyone but that's just life!
So anyway, Brady tells me last week "Poop.....Potty!" In his little caveman-like sentences he's telling me he wants to poop on the potty. Which, by the way he has only done once and that is because I caught him in the middle of it and took him to the potty to finish!
He takes his pants and diaper off right in front of me runs to the bathroom in the hallway. When he gets to the door he looks back at me and says "Mommy" and points in to the bathroom and the toilet. He wants me to sit on the toilet while he goes on his little potty. So I go in there and sit and he sits down and this is what I see next:

So why did he want me to come in there with him if he wanted privacy? I have no idea but the whole time I was asking him "Are you going potty?" and I tried to look into the curtain area but he wouldn't let me.

So this went on for quite a while and I thought I heard some noises in there and I asked him "Did you go poo poo?" and he announces to me "NO! I toot toot!"

So no pooping on the potty for him for now. (We just had a fun little party in the bathroom for about 20 minutes waiting for him to go poop. He did pee several times though!)

So sorry if this grosses anyone out. Maybe you all don't want to know about my child and his bathroom habits but as pathetic as it is, it is what I am doing these days! What a glamorous life I have!!!!

And Aaron has just finished his Master's class for this term so he might actually have time to post about his DC trip on here one of these days! He promised he would post about it so I am holding him to it! Stay tuned..........
